Fatal flaws in systematic review conduct, and how to fix them—A commentary to Rao. et al. (2022)

Water system is a crucial lifeline for sustainable cities. However, the previous researches failed to bridge water inclusiveness with sustainability. This study developed novel concept of inclusive sustainability (WIS), WIS framework and an evaluation through incorporating five indexes availability, inclusiveness, sustainability, innovation friendliness. An improved integrated method also measure 38 cities three city clusters in Yangtze River Economic Belt (YREB) from 2008 2018. The spatial temporal evolution coordinating capacity key impediments are observed. results show that: 1) slight ascending tendency at comparatively middle level YREB, friendliness > availability index; 2) being low coordination, their present society < environment science technology resources subsystem; 3) differentiation west obviously lower than that east. main 12 factors. discoveries will be great value monitoring cities’ ensuring security YREB.
